On the shoreline of Larto Lake at 2412 Hwy 3102, is a beautiful waterfront camp and floating boathouse ready for fishing and watersports or just plain relaxing. This elevated camp sits on an approx. 65’ by 80’ lot which has a double bulkhead. The foundation consists of drilled shafts and steel beams and the bulkhead is tied into the foundation by steel cables and is very solid. The main area has a cypress tounge and groove ceiling and there is tounge and groove cypress along the lake wall. The bathrooms have acrylic tub and shower combos and one has a double vanity. All three bedrooms have a queen bed and a bunk bed that is a single over a double and each room has a large closet. The camp is all electric and there are two hot water heaters, one for each level. All the furnishings and appliances on both levels remain with the camp. All you need is your fishing pole and your clothes!
Out in the water in front of the camp is a 38’x39’ covered floating dock /boathouse with 3 boat slips with lifts and another slip with a double jet ski lift. The framework and roof are all metal and all the wood decking is treated and the floats are foam enclosed by plastic. There is water and electricity to the dock and a fish cleaning station also. One of the slips is wide enough for a party barge and the dock has a water slide and diving board and ladders in place to climb back up. The sellers have made several brush piles under the dock and have done extremely well on white perch fishing off of the dock. Large metal pipes drove into the lake bed let the dock float up and down with water level.
Larto Lake is known by many to be one of the best fishing lakes in the state and offers plenty of watersports as well. Dewey Wills WMA is a short boat ride or vehicle drive away and has over 60,000 acres of hunting and fishing opportunities. Honey Brake Lodge very close by and offers great guided waterfowl hunts and there are also numerous hunting clubs and leases in the area that may also be a possibility as well.
