Located on 503 acres of private northern Adirondack forestlands and adjacent to thousands of acres of state land, Santa Clara Lodge would make a perfect hunting club or family getaway. Built in 1998, the custom-crafted, Adirondack-style,1,700 sq. ft. lodge features a classic, floor-to-ceiling granite fireplace, open great room, cathedral ceilings and fir siding and log work that was milled on site. Stunning views of Twin Mountain and surrounding woodlands can be enjoyed from the great room and expansive back deck. Custom, hand-hewn yellow birch stairs and railings lead to the second floor, which contains a sitting area, two bedrooms and a half bath. The lodge is heated by a woodstove and off-grid power is delivered by a propane generator. The lodge features a drilled well, on-site septic system and satellite television and cell phone service. A screened-in porch serves as the main entrance and can be used to store firewood, skis, snowshoes and outdoor gear. Outbuildings include a spacious storage building for equipment, a unique vintage trapper's cabin, and a garage with a loft, finished in cherry that can be used as additional living space for residents or guests.

The land is a sportsman's dream with multiple food plots, miles of Atv, snowmobile and hiking trails and direct proximity to the Santa Clara Tract, adding miles and miles of deer hunting and recreational opportunities well beyond property bounds. The property offers significant timber resources for harvest, including maple, birch, cherry and spruce/fir. Jennings Brook winds it way through the heart of the property woodlands - home to several species of trout. Hunting opportunities are diverse and include white-tailed deer, eastern turkey, black bear, ruffed grouse, woodcock and ducks.

Santa Clara is a scenic area of the Adirondack Park well known for its historic hunting clubs, family estates, conserved timberlands and famous brook trout ponds and streams. The property is located near the east branch of the St. Regis River, popular with canoeists and kayakers and is only two-and-a-half miles from Meacham Lake, a 1,200 acre lake with a motor boat launch, camping and fishing. The lodge is accessed from an internal, gated entrance road, directly off State Route 458, a paved, four-season road in northern, New York. Located 25 miles from Malone, NY and 45 minutes from Lake Placid, Santa Clara Lodge is only 2.5 hours from Burlington and Montreal.
