Pine Ridge Ranch
Stringtown, OK 74569
Atoka County, Oklahoma

Ranch Description
Pine Ridge Ranch is located in north central Atoka County approximately 11 miles NE of Atoka, OK. Electric, rural water, and access are available along Hwy 43 on the north side of the ranch. Interior access to the ranch is gained through a series of ranch roads and logging trails. Pine Ridge Ranch is a very scenic property with approximately 440 /-ft of elevation change and covered with native pine, hardwoods. Varying age classes of pine are scattered throughout the ranch and have been managed specifically with wildlife in mind. The ridge that crosses the property from east to west inspired the name Pine Ridge and allows a relatively level area for a road system. Three different creeks either start on this ranch or cross at some point. Potapo Creek head waters start here and travel from north to south before converging with several other drainages in the southeast corner of the ranch. Development of lakes and ponds along current drainages has been explored but not engineered. There is desirable terrain and water runoff into the southeast corner of the ranch with the potential to produce a very significant lake. Large lakes require a lot of due diligence including engineering and permitting but this property should be considered if someone is interested in a big lake. The deer population in this area is very strong and the quality is good. Turkey hunting is equally as good and boasts very healthy numbers of eastern birds. Pine Ridge is almost the same distance to Dallas, Tulsa, and OKC making its location very desireable to three large metro areas.
