Ranch Description

This is an excellent Sandhills Ranch. There is over 1 mile of the famed Niobrara River running through this ranch. There are 3 submersible wells with underground pipe development. In addition, there is 1 windmill and there is always water in the river.

There was a forest fire in 2012 that scorched most of the trees along the river. However the grass and forbs have come back and is providing excellent food base for cattle and wildlife.

The house on the ranch is modest and would provide a good headquarters.

The north parcel and south parcels are connected with a county bridge. There is cornstalks and alfalfa grown in the area. The whitetail, mule deer, wild turkey, waterfowl and grouse hunting opportunities are excellent.
