Several creeks in the area flow eastward toward the West Branch of the Escanaba River, and the Ford River lies just a few miles to the south. Take a left and continue straight (south) on South McClellan/M-553 South. Continue south 18+ miles to North Southgate Drive (Co Rd EL) in Gwinn and turn right. Continue straight to West Iron Street. Go ½ mile and turn left onto Iron Street. Turn right at first cross street onto M-35 N/W Iron Street. Turn left onto N Serenity Drive. Turn left onto S County Road 557. Continue onto County Road 557. Turn right onto County Road 426M.5 Road (toward Northland) to County Road SG. Take a right and go to the end of the pavement. Take a right and follow County Road SG to County Road SH Ross Grade. Turn right onto Ross Grade and drive about 1.3 Miles North to a small Red Sign that says Wells Twp 6051.
